About Nakano Station

Situated just west of Shinjuku, Nakano is one of the top residential areas of Tokyo that are worth checking out for international visitors. It flies under the radar as the neighboring areas are go-to destinations, but Nakano provides wonderful shopping and dining offerings in a more relaxed and less touristy setting.

The district is lined with wonderful shotengai (covered shopping streets) along with being home to Mandarake shops specializing in Otaku merchandise (anime and manga). Nakano Broadway, one of Tokyo's top retail destinations, is a major draw.

The area is also incredibly easy to reach as Nakano Station, the central hub, is well-connected through the subway and multiple train lines. Going to stay somewhere slightly off the beaten path? You could do worse than grabbing a hotel in Nakano

If you're planning on utilizing Nakano Station’s useful train connections to explore Tokyo, you should use our Bounce luggage storage service to make your trip easier. The network’s main spot at #504 City Plaza Nakano 5-32-11 Nakano,Nakano-Ku, is ultra-convenient for commuting through Nakano Station, and there are hundreds of luggage storage locations across Tokyo.
