Every year, one country or region is given a special focus, allowing them to present their culture and tourism opportunities to a global audience. Countries like Colombia, Brazil, and Portugal have had this honor in past years. In 2025, Mexico will be the partner country of FITUR!

This international tourism trade fair will take place at Ifema-Feria de Madrid, or simply IFEMA. This trade fair and exhibition center is known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. FITUR is your opportunity to negotiate deals and learn about new offerings since travel agencies will display their unique proposals, whether group tours or niche travel experiences, to attract business from other exhibitors and visitors.

Many participating countries put on cultural performances, such as traditional dances, music, and presentations of their local heritage. • First-aid stations: Medical staff will be scattered throughout the event's grounds in case of an emergency.
• Bag checks: The security will check all bags at the entrance.
• Prohibited items: Large bags, dangerous objects, and outside beverages and food aren’t allowed.

How to Get To or From the Event

• Metro: Line 8 (Pink Line) connects to Madrid's main Barajas Airport (T1, T2, T3, and T4), making reaching FITUR from the city center and the airport easy. The Campo de las Naciones station, which is located near the IFEMA fairgrounds, is the most convenient stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the venue. Line 4 (Brown Line) will take you to the Mar de Cristal station, which also serves the area, and from here, you can take a bus or a short taxi ride to the venue.
• Bus: Several bus lines serve the IFEMA area, including Lines 112, 122, 104, 828, and others. These connect to different parts of Madrid, including the city center and suburban areas.

You can't enter the venue with a large bag or backpack. FITUR provides coat check or bag storage areas where attendees can store larger bags or items they don’t wish to carry throughout the venue.
