About Hong Kong Airport

Rated number five in World’s Best Airports, Best Airports for Dining, and the World’s Best Airport Immigration Service, the Hong Kong Airport is full of beauty and fun. Be entertained while you wait for your flight or as soon as your plane hits the tarmac upon landing. You can watch an IMAX movie, take a shower and nap in one of the lounges, or hit the greens at the indoor golf club. How about flying your own plane? Yeah, you can do that and more in the flight simulator. Hong Kong Airport is the third-largest airport in the world and has plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the sights as well as the shops and services.

The City of Hong Kong is along the South China Sea and the Pearl River Delta. With over 7.4 million residents, it is the most densely populated place in the world. However, it started out as a small fishing village in the late 1800s before being built up as one of the largest importers and exporters in the world. The city boasts over a dozen museums and memorials, fine art centers, opera, theaters, and is well-known for its amazing Asian cuisine.

Fun Fact: Eight optical illusion works of art are hidden in Terminal 1, such as a goldfish market and lion dance.
