Luggage Storage Near Copp’s Hill Burying Ground

The Copp’s Hill Burying Ground takes its name from William Copp, a renowned shoemaker and Bostonian. The Burying Ground is significant for a number of reasons. Not only is it the final resting place of several revered Boston artists, but it’s also located along the Freedom Trail.

Guests are more than welcome to take pictures of the Burying Ground so long as they’re respectful and in accordance with the city’s laws. Some notable individuals who are buried at Copp’s Hill include the Abolitionist Prince Hall and Robert Newman. Luggage Storage Near Pierce/Hichborn House

The Pierce/Hichborn House is one of the oldest remaining structures in North End. This Georgian house was built in 1711 for one Moses Pierce. Later on, a man by the name of Nathaniel Hichborn would come into possession of the house. If Hichborn’s name sounds familiar to some, that’s because he was one of Paul Revere’s cousins. Long after Hichborn passed away, the house became a store, before finally becoming a museum.

These days, visitors can visit the Pierce/Hichborn House to learn about Paul Revere’s extended family, as well as Boston’s early history. Understandably, guests are prohibited from bringing too much luggage inside the house. Anyone looking to visit this spectacular structure should use Bounce before heading over.

Luggage Storage Near Skinny House

The Skinny House is one of North End’s younger attractions. True to its name, the Skinny House holds the distinction of being the narrowest building in Boston. Legend has it that the Skinny House was built during the Civil War after two brothers got into a bitter feud. One brother allegedly built a large home on a plot of land owned by his father. To spite his sibling, the other brother built the Skinny House – a home that’s too narrow for more than one family to occupy at a time.

Today, the Skinny House has become a must-visit venue. It can be found at 44 Hull Street, across the street from the previously mentioned Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Since the Skinny House is a private home, guests aren’t often allowed to go inside the building. However, there are certain occasions where visitors can tour this famous building. Bounce away your baggage way ahead of time, just to be safe.
