Garden Jubilee 2025
Welcome to Hendersonville's seven-block garden wonderland, where lush greenery and the scent of fresh earth fill the air!
The Garden Jubilee, Western North Carolina's celebration of all things botanical, is a fantasyland of plants, creativity, and expert gardening tips. This event was first organized in 1990. It began as a small gathering of plant enthusiasts but quickly flourished into a lively, two-day celebration that transforms Main Street into a luxurious paradise each Memorial Day weekend. Generations of gardeners have wandered through the festival, discovering rare plants, handmade crafts, and expert advice to cultivate their own green sanctuaries. Today, Garden Jubilee continues to grow and welcomes thousands of visitors who celebrate nature's beauty and bounty.
Meet us in Hendersonville on May 24 and 25 from 9 am to 5 pm!
What to Expect When Attending Garden Jubilee 2025
Here's what you'll find on Main Street:
Nearly 200 plant and craft vendors: This plant extravaganza features local and regional nurseries selling thousands of different flowers, hard-to-find plants, shrubs, trees, and herbs. Crafters will offer distinctive garden art, along with unique garden décor, handcrafted goods, and locally made treasures. Discover handmade lawn furniture, jewelry, garden tools, planters, wind chimes, and pottery, as well as delicious local food, fresh produce, and homemade treats.
Gardening advice: Get ready to learn from gardening experts, horticulturists, and plant specialists who will share tips on everything from landscaping to plant care.
Live entertainment and family fun: When you need some extra fun, this historic downtown area also offers a lively atmosphere filled with music, entertainment, and interactive experiences for all ages.
Free entrance: Good news! You can attend one of the largest gardening shows in Western North Carolina for free!
Know the weather before you pack: Average high temperatures in May are around 72.9 F (22.7 C) and average lows near 53.9 F (12.2 C). Wear light clothes and comfy shoes, and protect yourself from the sun with a hat and sunglasses. May can bring occasional showers, so a packable rain jacket or poncho is a good idea just in case!
Security Protocols
Event organizers have taken thoughtful measures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Friendly security personnel will be present throughout Main Street, and first-aid stations will be available if needed. Pets (except service animals) are discouraged to keep the event comfortable for everyone, and walkways should remain clear for easy access. Relax, explore, and enjoy the festival, knowing that safety is at the heart of this garden-filled celebration!
