Convenient Capri luggage storage

Capri, the glamorous island in the Bay of Naples, is famous for its stunning cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and luxury boutiques. Visitors flock to the island to explore its natural beauty, including the iconic Blue Grotto and the panoramic views from Mount Solaro. The island’s charming town squares, like Piazzetta di Capri, are filled with cafés and restaurants, offering the perfect place to relax and soak in the Mediterranean atmosphere.

Navigating Capri’s steep pathways and narrow streets with luggage can take away from the island’s enchanting experience. To fully enjoy scenic hikes, boat tours, and elegant shops without the hassle of dragging bags, it’s best to store your luggage at a nearby facility with Bounce. This allows you to move freely and enjoy everything from the coastal trails to the high-end fashion boutiques with ease.

We partner with local businesses like hotels, restaurants, or even the local souvenir shop, so there's always a place to leave heavy bags for a few hours or for days at a time. Use our app to find your nearest luggage storage facility and enjoy the Marina Grande with its spectacular views of Mount Vesuvius or any of the other locations that make Capri truly unforgettable.

Getting around Capri

Capri is famous for its rugged landscape, upscale shopping, and breathtaking views. Visitors come to explore landmarks like the Blue Grotto, a sea cave with mesmerizing blue water, and Villa Jovis, the ancient ruins of a palace built by Emperor Tiberius. The town of Capri is filled with boutique stores, cafes, and piazzas, while the quieter town of Anacapri offers more serene, panoramic views from Mount Solaro.

Reaching Capri is easy from mainland Italy. Ferries depart regularly from Naples and Sorrento, taking about 50 and 20 minutes, respectively. Once on the island, the funicular from Marina Grande to Capri Town is a quick five-minute ride, and buses connect you to other parts of the island, including Anacapri, in 10-15 minutes. Here's a breakdown:

  • Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra): Take the boat tour from Marina Grande to the Blue Grotto, or take a bus to Anacapri, then switch to the Blue Grotto bus. It takes about 10 minutes by boat, or 30 minutes by bus.
  • Faro di Punta Carena (Carena Lighthouse): Grab the bus from Marina Grande to Anacapri, then transfer to the lighthouse bus. You'll arrive at your destination in about half an hour.
  • Marina Piccola: Take a 20-minute bus ride from Marina Grande to Marina Piccola via Capri Town.

Given Capri’s hilly terrain and limited road access, luggage storage options on the island can be incredibly convenient. Storing your bags near the port or town center allows you to freely explore the island’s scenic walks, historic sites, and vibrant squares without any heavy lifting. Use Bounce for the best Capri luggage storage available.
