Anaheim is a popular destination for travelers heading to sunny southern California. This is the place to go if you want to visit Disneyland and even Universal Studios since it is about 59 miles from the city center. But did you know that Anaheim is also a sports-loving city? The Honda Center is conveniently located at 2695 E Katella Ave, which is in the middle of Anaheim. This venue also happens to be the home arena of the wildly popular NHL Anaheim Ducks.

The arena opened in 1993 and became an instant hit. It's not just the NHL that uses this stadium, as the Honda Center is also host to touring shows, concerts, performances, comedy shows, WWE shows, bull riding competitions, and much more. You can find more details by going online and checking the arena's upcoming events page. It seems like there's always something new and exciting being added to the lineup.

In terms of concerts, there have been some big names who have performed at the Honda Center over the years. Some of these include Jelly Roll, Enrique Iglesias, Bryan Adams, Alan Jackson, The Jonas Brothers, Post Malone, Jimmy Buffet, and Elton John.

Besides being close to Disneyland, Anaheim is about a half-hour drive from Los Angeles. Its central location makes it perfect for those who want to tour around the area. Other notable attractions in the Anaheim and Los Angeles area include Knott's Berry Farm, The Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, the Battleship USS Iowa Museum, beaches, city tours, restaurants, shopping, and more. California has a bit for everyone, making it the ideal place for a holiday.

And, while you may be getting hyped about your event at the Honda Center, it's important to take a few moments and read about the Honda Center bag policy. We'll go over the type of bags allowed, what sizes are permitted, and even some additional policies. And remember, we're here to help when it comes to bag storage, as you may not be able to take your belongings into Honda Center with you.

Bag Policy at Honda Center: What You Need to Know Before You Visit

All events at Honda Center have a strict bag policy. Bags and purses can't exceed 5" x 9" x 2" and they are all subject to inspection, including clear bags and purses. Backpacks are not permitted in the venue. All other purses/bags/clutches that are larger than maximum size will not be allowed into the stadium even if they are a clear bag.

There are exceptions for those who need a diaper or a bag for medical items such as special medical equipment, prescription medication, or breast pumps. These bags can't be larger than 12" x 12" x 12" Medical and diaper bags are both subject to manual inspection before they are allowed into the venue.

If you're unsure of what medical equipment is permitted, be sure to contact customer service before the event. Because diaper bags must undergo the same type of screening, you may have questions about what's allowed too.

The stadium does not offer a bag check, so you'll need another plan which is why our bag storage is so handy.
