EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2025

Get enchanted by the dazzling Walt Disney World at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts began in 2017 as Disney's celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts. It quickly became a fan favorite for its exciting atmosphere and creative activities. Held annually at Walt Disney World, the festival lets guests experience Disney-inspired art installations, culinary masterpieces, and live performances.

The festival takes place at EPCOT, one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in the Bay Lake area near Orlando, Florida. Originally designed as a "permanent World's Fair," EPCOT is divided into four key areas: World Showcase, World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature.

At the Festival of the Arts, Figment plays a starring role. Figment is a beloved Disney character and the mascot of EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion. He’s a small, purple dragon with a big imagination and playful personality, symbolizing creativity, curiosity, and innovation!

Join us for just over a month of fun and joy from January 17 to February 24!

What to Expect When Attending EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2025

You'll discover art installations featuring Disney and other themed artwork by both local and international artists. Many pieces are for sale, allowing you to take home unique art! Artists often create masterpieces in real-time, with live painting, chalk art, and 3D pavement art throughout the park. What’s most interesting is that guests can participate in the popular Paint-by-Number Mural, contributing to a large collective artwork that changes throughout the festival.

Each year, Disney invites Broadway stars to perform beloved songs from Disney musicals at the America Gardens Theatre. Expect show-stopping performances from musicals like The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen!

Special Festival of the Arts food studios will be set up across EPCOT, each serving artistically crafted dishes inspired by world art and cuisine. These include desserts inspired by famous paintings and unique plates resembling edible artworks. How cool would it be to see dishes based on Van Gogh's Starry Night or works by Salvador Dalí? Watch as culinary experts demonstrate their skills in “culinary arts” through dishes as beautiful as they are delicious.

Among many other things, you'll be able to step into large-scale recreations of famous paintings for photo ops, allowing you to become part of art like da Vinci's Mona Lisa!

Draw your favorite Disney characters at the Animation Academy with the help of instructors! Show off your artistry!

January and February in Orlando usually see daytime highs between 65°F and 75°F (18°C to 24°C) and cooler evenings, with lows around 50°F to 60°F (10°C to 15°C). Dress comfortably, and bring a jacket to keep you warm in the evenings!
