The city of West Hollywood, within the Los Angeles area, invites all Halloween Carnaval goers to dress in their most incredible costumes and have fun.

The inaugural party took place in 1987. As the years passed, it became one of the biggest sensations in the city. This Halloween event is pretty special for Halloween enthusiasts—they can have a great time, express and enjoy themselves with other revelers. Come and dance the night away!

West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval is an annual celebration on the well-known day - October 31. 

Located along Santa Monica Boulevard, the event spans from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard. 

What to Expect When Attending West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval 2024

The carnaval will last from 6 pm to 11 pm. Wildly dressed Halloween revelers will be present at the WeHo Halloween Carnaval, so be creative and think about your costume! Bar specials will be serving tasty treats, and people will be strutting their phenomenal costumes! It's a party you don't want to miss! 

You'll also be able to enjoy live music on multiple stages and taste enticing specialties from food trucks along Santa Monica Boulevard. These stages will host live music, DJs, and performances that include everything from local artists to surprise celebrity appearances.

The weather will be pleasant, but dress up in layers or bring a jacket because the temperature for the evening is expected to be low, around 60s°F (16°C).

To ensure a safe Halloween Carnaval, the city of West Hollywood and West Hollywood Sheriff's Station are taking these measurements:

• The police and security will be present to patrol the streets and respond to any emergency.
• Medical tents will be located throughout Santa Monica Blvd in case someone needs medical help.
• Bringing in alcohol and public drinking will not be allowed.
• Backpacks, camera cases, and tote bags will not be permitted (only clear plastic bags will be allowed).
• No weapons, fireworks, or drones will be tolerated.
• Kids and pets are strongly discouraged.

How to Get To or From the Event

There are several transportation options to get to Santa Monica Blvd:

• Bus: The LA Metro bus system has several bus lines that go through Santa Monica Boulevard. Buses 4 and 704 are convenient to reach the carnival.
• Metro Rail: You can take the Metro Red Line to the Hollywood/Highland Station and then transfer to the bus, as there is no direct metro line station in West Hollywood.
