Are you a fan of rodeo? If so, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is preparing a ten-day spectacle for you! Join the crowd in Las Vegas!

The NFR event first took place in Dallas, Texas, in 1959. In the 1960s, it shifted to Oklahoma City, and finally, in 1985, it moved to its current home in Las Vegas. This rodeo show attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors. In 2015, the event gathered over 170,000 people at the Thomas & Mack Center, in Las Vegas!

Rodeo athletes travel the country all year, making as much money as possible at PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned rodeos. The top 15 money earners get to go to the NFR!

The NFR offers several different events that are broadcast on TV. These include saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.

Every year, it starts on a Thursday and ends on a Saturday. Pack your bags and plan your trip to Las Vegas from December 5 to December 14!

The weather forecast predicts mild and cool weather, with daytime highs around 56°F (13°C) and nighttime temperatures dropping to about 39°F (4°C). Bring a jacket for cooler evenings to stay comfortable!

Tickets

You can purchase your ticket here. A one-day ticket for NFR access only (without the seat) costs $75. If you choose the balcony, the ticket's price is $100 for one performance, $400 for a four-day pack, and $600 for a six-day pack.

Security Protocols

• Security personnel will conduct bag checks at the entrance and ensure everyone's safe.
• Prohibited items include large bags, backpacks, and dangerous objects.
• Medical staff will be present at the venue to assist anyone in need.

How to Get To or From the Event

Here are your options to reach the Thomas & Mack Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus:

• Car: You can go by car, but arrive early to secure your spot at the parking area. The price for parking for one day is $30.
• NFR Express Shuttle Bus: This service from 23 sponsor hotels is free, and you can avoid parking crowds by using these shuttle buses.
• Monorail Access: The Las Vegas Monorail is another option for getting around. The closest stop is at the MGM Grand. From there, you can take a shuttle or taxi to the venue.

NFR 2024 Bag Policy

Clear bags that don't exceed the size 12'' x 6'' x 12'' are allowed. You can also enter with a small purse no larger than 8'' x 11''.

Backpacks and bags larger than the mentioned size are prohibited. You can leave your bags at the bag check at the entrance for $20.
